Travelling abroad
When travelling abroad by bus, children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or an adult (age 18 or over with parental authorisation if the adult is not the parent). Children between 16-18 years of age can travel abroad alone with parental authorisation.
Important! In order to board the bus and cross borders, all minors (travelling alone or with an adult) must present a ticket, valid national ID/passport corresponding to the ticket and a parental authorisation form if required.
Domestic travel
Minors aged 12 to 16 can travel alone on domestic lines if they hold a parental authorisation to travel alone. All minors must be in possession of an identity document (national identity card, passport or any document issued by a public authority including a photograph which resembles the individual).
Please note! A parental authorisation form for minors must be completed and signed by their legal representative or guardian before travelling alone or with an adult that is not the child’s parent. More information on how children/minors travel here.
